About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Huskee Limited ("ako.tools", "we", "us") for the ako.tools website, REST API, MCP servers and related pages (the "Service"). By signing in, approving an agent, creating an API key or using the Service you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ako.tools is an early product. We may change, limit or withdraw features as it develops.
The Service
ako.tools tests how AI assistants discover, cite and recommend a brand, audits how technically ready a public website is for AI agents, and writes recommended actions from the results. You can use it through the website, through an agent that connects over MCP or REST, or through scripts using an API key.
Accounts, agents and keys
A person must approve every agent and create every API key. You are responsible for everything done with your account, agents and keys, including their cost, so keep keys secret, grant only the permissions an agent needs and revoke any you no longer use. Give us accurate account details and tell us at once if you think access has been compromised. One person may not create multiple accounts to obtain free credit more than once.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit a website or brand you are not entitled to audit, or use the Service to attack, overload or probe a site;
- try to bypass limits, quotas or spending controls, or share access in a way that does;
- resell the Service or its raw output as a competing product, or use it to build a competing model or dataset;
- use it to break the law, infringe others’ rights or send content that is unlawful or harmful;
- interfere with the Service, other users or our providers, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission.
Credit, prices and payment
Work is paid from prepaid credit in US dollars. There is no subscription. New accounts receive free credit once; it has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and we may change or end the offer for future accounts.
You can add credit by card through Stripe. Each audit shows a free estimate first. Only work that succeeds is charged: a failed call, a failed technical audit or a run that produces no result costs nothing. An audit that runs out of credit stops and keeps the results it has. Estimates are not quotes: actual cost can differ, and you can set a maximum cost for an audit.
Credit you have paid for is non-refundable except where the law requires it or we say otherwise. Prices can change; a change applies to work you start afterwards. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.
Results are measurements, not guarantees
Results come from AI assistants (their consumer apps where possible, their APIs where not) and a public-website crawl. They are samples: answers vary from run to run, differ from what a signed-in assistant would show and change over time. Recommended actions are written by a model from the evidence and may be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgement before acting on them. The Service is not professional, legal, financial or marketing advice, and we do not promise any ranking, mention, traffic or sales outcome.
Your data
You keep your rights in the websites, brand details and questions you submit. You give us permission to process them, and to send the relevant parts to our model, rendering, payment and email providers, to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. We own the Service, its software and the way results are scored and presented. We give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the results for your own business, including sharing them with your clients.
Third-party services
The Service depends on providers such as AI model providers, Cloudflare, Stripe and Render. Their availability, behaviour and pricing are outside our control, and their own terms may apply to payments you make through them.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We apply usage limits to protect it. We may change the Service and these terms; we will post the new terms with a new date and tell account holders of material changes. Using the Service after a change means you accept it.
Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, whether express or implied, including satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, to the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill; and our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and US$100.
Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable losses from a third-party claim arising from your breach of these terms, including submitting a site you were not entitled to audit.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, put the Service or others at risk, or we stop offering the Service. Unused paid credit that we cannot honour because we end the Service will be refunded. Sections that by their nature should survive ending will do so.
